Overview

As a Parts Counter Associate at Dynamic Equipment Group, you'll play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service by assisting customers both in person and over the phone. This position involves managing parts inquiries, fulfilling orders, and maintaining positive relationships with customers while working in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers with parts inquiries in a friendly manner
  • Research and fulfill parts orders accurately and efficiently
  • Place daily parts orders with multiple vendors and track statuses
  • Receive, organize, and ship customer parts orders on time
  • Communicate updates, promotions, and special offers to customers
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and identify needs
  • Maintain accurate cash handling and credit authorization
  • Maximize sales by upselling and promoting relevant products
  • Handle customer concerns and escalate issues when necessary
  • Keep the parts counter clean, organized, and well-stocked
  • Make outbound follow-up calls and emails to prospects

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in sales or customer service
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with basic computer systems
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Self-motivated and results-driven
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish or other languages, preferred)
  • Experience as a Parts Counter Associate in heavy equipment or rental industry (preferred)
  • Familiarity with counter sales or equipment parts systems (preferred)
