Overview

IVC - Corporation Internationale Visuelle du Canada is a leader in custom commercial furniture manufacturing, serving renowned retail brands in North America. They are seeking a pragmatic and strategic Senior HR Partner focused on people, responsible for recruitment, coaching, payroll, benefits, and health and safety, while modernizing operations through AI and automation.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead full cycle recruitment for production, technical, administrative, and management positions with AI assistance.
  • Oversee onboarding and coaching for new employees and managers.
  • Align HR strategy and culture with business objectives, supporting succession planning and change management.
  • Manage HR operations including payroll, benefits, records, and compliance with automation.
  • Ensure health, safety, and compliance training, incident reporting, and claims management.

Required skills

  • 10+ years of HR experience, ideally in manufacturing, production, or construction.
  • Strong background in recruitment, coaching, and developing HR programs.
  • Hands-on experience with AI, automation, and process improvement.
  • Good knowledge of labor laws, payroll systems, and health and safety regulations.
  • Bilingual in French and English is a significant asset.
  • Proficient in Excel and quick to master new systems.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, initiative, and ability to work independently and in teams.
