Overview

As a Part-Time Van Driver at River Rock Academy, you will provide safe and reliable transportation for students facing behavioral and academic challenges. Your role is crucial in ensuring that students arrive safely and on time while maintaining a supportive environment during transit.

Key responsibilities

  • Transport students safely and promptly to and from the program
  • Maintain vehicle condition and report maintenance concerns as needed
  • Refuel vehicles and complete required vehicle log documentation accurately
  • Ensure students behave appropriately during transit and follow safety procedures
  • Follow all traffic laws and school safety protocols

Required skills

  • Valid Pennsylvania driver's license
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Clean driving record
  • Experience working with special education adolescents preferred
  • Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to safety
  • Ability to remain calm and professional during student transport
