Overview

ALDI is seeking part-time cashiers and stockers in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Cashiers will provide friendly and efficient checkout services, while stockers will ensure shelves are stocked and organized to enhance the shopping experience. Both roles are crucial for maintaining smooth store operations and excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide friendly, efficient checkout service as a cashier.
  • Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining store organization as a stocker.
  • Model and fulfill customer service principles and escalate concerns to management.
  • Assist store management in achieving operational efficiency goals.
  • Maintain store zones and merchandising standards.
  • Comply with inventory procedures and product handling guidelines.
  • Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain store standards.
  • Accurately scan and process customer purchases using the POS system.
  • Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures.
  • Stock shelves and displays neatly following merchandising planograms.
  • Complete curbside pickup orders accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Identify and rectify hazards to maintain a safe working environment.
