Overview

The Part-time Math Instructor/Tutor at Mathnasium of Bethesda is responsible for delivering engaging mathematical instruction to students in grades 1-12 using the Mathnasium method. This role involves personalized teaching that enhances students’ understanding, confidence, and love for math while providing exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver mathematical instruction using the Mathnasium Method
  • Engage with students to inspire and create a fun learning environment
  • Provide constructive feedback and document student progress
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and effective communication with parents and co-workers
  • Participate in team meetings and continuous training sessions
  • Assist with administrative tasks and maintain center cleanliness
