Job Description

Overview

StuartCo is seeking a part-time Leasing Consultant to join their Argenta Townhomes team in Inver Grove Heights, MN. The role involves developing sales skills, conducting property tours, leasing apartments and townhomes, and optimizing occupancy while maximizing rental income.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain current knowledge regarding apartment/townhome availability, rates, and features
  • Greet prospective residents and discuss their housing needs
  • Conduct property and apartment/townhome tours
  • Prepare lease-related paperwork and explain documents to residents
  • Follow established policies in the qualification and acceptance of applicants
  • Maintain prospect and leasing data on the Guest Card and in Yardi
  • Maximize resident renewals through the community lease renewal program
  • Assist with managing the day-to-day operation of the community
  • Attend staff meetings as required

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One or more years of leasing or retail experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to close sales
  • Teamwork skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work projects
