Overview

Stuart Co is looking for a part-time Leasing Consultant to join their team in La Crosse, Wisconsin. The consultant will be responsible for utilizing sales skills to lease apartment homes and townhomes, optimize occupancy, and provide excellent customer service to prospective residents.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain knowledge of apartment/townhome availability, rates, and features
  • Greet prospective residents and discuss their housing needs
  • Conduct property and apartment/townhome tours
  • Prepare lease-related paperwork accurately and timely
  • Follow up with prospective residents after showings
  • Assist in managing day-to-day community operations
  • Prepare marketing materials for prospective residents
  • Participate in staff meetings and follow organizational policies

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One or more years of leasing or retail experience preferred
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to close sales and make prospective residents feel comfortable
  • Team-oriented with good time management skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
