R.L. Barclay & Associates is seeking an experienced Intellectual Property Docketing Paralegal to join a growing law firm in Dallas, Texas. This permanent, remote position requires applicants to be based in Texas and is open due to the firm's growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Analyze documents from the USPTO and identify critical deadlines
  • Generate and edit reports in the database
  • Multitask and prioritize multiple projects
  • Ensure strong attention to detail
  • Utilize strong organizational skills
  • Communicate effectively in written and verbal formats
  • Collaborate as a team player

Required skills

  • In-depth knowledge of patent prosecution process
  • Minimum 3 years IP docketing experience in a law firm
  • Extensive IP paralegal experience
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Strong technical skills with formal technical training as a plus
