We are looking for an energetic and experienced Florida Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join our team. We need someone with solid computer skills who loves the idea of working with state-of-the-art programs, applications, and software to make things more efficient. Benefits for qualified employees includes: PTO, IRA (matching), Life Insurance, Short Term and Long Term Disability insurance.Compensation:$55,000 - $75,000Responsibilities:Organizing Files and moving them forwardDocketing and scheduling eventsDrafting probate pleadingsDrafting Estate Planning Documents: Wills, Trusts, Deeds, Durable Power of AttorneyCommunicating updates to clients and gathering informationHelping attorneys prepare for signing meetingsWeekly case management meetings and logging updates to case filesQualifications:Strong preference for candidates who have completed a paralegal professional certification or have an advanced paralegal educationStrong oral and written communication skillsMust have great time-management skills and organizational skillsFlorida Probate paralegal for 2+ years preferredFlorida Estate Planning paralegal for 2+ years requiredA high school diploma is required, but advanced training at a college or university is preferredExperience with document building software, WealthCounsel, and/or Westlaw Form Builder is required, but will consider candidates with similar software experienceExperience with Clio Manage is preferred, but we will consider candidates with similar practice management software experienceExperience with using Google Mail, Google Drive, and Google Calendar is preferred, and a plus but not requiredType 70-100 WPM is requiredSpanish SpeakerAbout CompanyGrimaldi Law Firm is a dedicated Estate Planning law firm committed to helping individuals and families protect their futures with confidence.
