To provide essential legal and administrative support to attorneys by assisting with case preparation, document management, legal research, and client communication. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities: Assist in all phases of case management, including pre-trial, and post-trial activities Draft, revie, and proofread legal documents Conduct legal research and summarize findings Organize and maintain case files, both electronic and physical File legal documents with courts (including e-filing systems) and ensure compliance with deadlines Coordinate and schedule meetings, depositions, hearings, and court appearances Communicate with clients, courts, and external parties ina professional manner Track deadlines and manage attorney calendars to ensure timely case progression Assit with billing, time tracking, and expense reporting as neededQualifications: Associates or Bachelors degree 2+ years of paralegal or legal assistant experience Knowledge of legal terminology, procedurs, and court systems Experience with legal research tools and document management systems Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Excellent organizational and time-management abilitiesPreferred Skills: Experience with e-filing systems (stand and federal courts) Familiarity with case management software Ability to work independently and handle confidential information Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsWork Environment: Office based Small law office 20-25 hour work week Casual attire
