Job Description

Overview

The Paralegal will work in the high-volume No-Surprise Act Arbitration Department, handling cases from inception to post-judgment. The role involves preparing and managing arbitration cases, drafting legal documents, and coordinating schedules.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage high-volume Federal and State NSA arbitration portfolios
  • Draft briefs and compile exhibits for submission to arbitrators
  • Coordinate and maintain arbitration schedules and deadlines
  • Draft, proofread, and format routine correspondence and arbitration documents
  • Submit arbitration documents via online portals
  • Assume additional duties as necessary
  • Meet weekly with COO, Director of Operations, and in-house counsel to review arbitration issues
