Wagner Oehler, Ltd. is seeking an organized, detail-oriented paralegal to join their legal team in Rochester, Minnesota. The role involves drafting legal documents, conducting research, and assisting with trial preparation, all while ensuring the accessibility and organization of case files.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist lawyers in preparing legal documentation and correspondence
  • Perform administrative duties including phone calls and case filing organization
  • Help prepare for trial by organizing exhibits and conducting legal research
  • Conduct interviews with clients to gather information about their legal issues
  • Draft estate planning documents and business documents
  • Track important dates and notify stakeholders as needed
  • Deliver best-in-class service to clients and collaborate with colleagues
  • Train on firm systems and processes

Required skills

  • Completion of a nationally-accredited paralegal program
  • Strong interpersonal, writing, and grammar skills
  • ABA-approved paralegal certificate program or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • High-level organizational and time-management skills
  • 3 years of experience in a law firm setting
