Overview

Paper Machine Superintendent Salary Up to $150,000 + Benefits + Paid Relocation to the South Join a paper mill in a welcoming community in the South. This role offers professional growth in a facility investing in modernization projects, with the added benefit of living in a region known for its food and music. Key Responsibilities as the Paper Machine Superintendent: • Lead daily operations of paper machines to meet production, quality, and cost targets • Monitor and optimize KPIs such as efficiency, downtime, waste, energy use • Drive root cause problem solving and continuous improvement initiatives • Champion safety, compliance, and environmental standards • Collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering, and Quality teams on outages, trials, and upgrades. Minimum requirements for this Paper Machine Superintendent: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Paper Science, or related field but will consider equivalent experience in a paper mill position • At least 10 years of paper mill experience with a preference for managing in a union environment. • Strong technical knowledge of paper machine operations and process control systems • Strong preference for Tissue/Towel paper making experience • Proven leadership, communication, and problem solving skills.
