Overview

The Painter/Utility Worker at RIX Industries is responsible for prepping and painting compressors and associated parts in a technology-focused manufacturing environment. This full-time role involves working closely with the production supervisor to ensure timely delivery and adherence to safety regulations while maintaining paint logs and equipment.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide quality, on-time painting of compressors, generators, and associated parts
  • Collaborate with the production supervisor to prioritize work orders
  • Mask, prep, and clean all components before applying primer and paint
  • Maintain all paint logs per company policies
  • Adhere to safety rules, regulations, and practices
  • Maintain the paint booth and equipment, completing weekly cleanings and audits
  • Monitor supply levels and notify supervisors as needed
  • Participate in cross-training programs as directed
  • Perform all duties in the best interest of the company as directed
