Overview

Curry Supply Company is seeking a Painter 1 to perform various painting duties for small parts and potentially larger projects as required. This role involves working in a safety-sensitive environment, adhering to strict safety policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities

  • Paint small parts such as bumper/winch kits and product tanks.
  • May assist with OEM quality painting and finishing.
  • Organize work according to directions and keep the shop orderly, clean, and safe.
  • Coordinate work tasks with other personnel and departments.
  • Abide by laws and company policies promoting a harassment-free workplace.
  • Report information to the immediate supervisor as needed.

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 1-2 years' experience in a related position preferred
  • Proficient use of HVLP/Pressure Pot spray systems
  • Basic paint mixing knowledge and paint/prep procedures
  • Ability to operate heavy machinery and power tools
  • Experience in confined space work and handling hazardous materials
  • Safety compliance awareness
