This position is based in Mifflintown, PA and offers an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to a culture built on quality, integrity, and teamwork.The Paint Sprayer I is responsible for the application of solvent-based paints, stains and other coating materials on wood components. The Paint Sprayer is also responsible for color match verification and quality assurance of parts finished.ResponsibilitiesSupport the Care values of the organization.Commit to producing a quality product for our customers.Must be able to measure out and catalyze material as neededMust ensure the quality application of coatings to ensure compliance with set quality standardsMust be proficient in Paint and TopcoatMust keep supervisor and/or manager informed of the quality of parts received from other departmentsMust be able to maintain a spray application of 3.5-4.0 wet mils on all parts on a consistent basisMust have the ability to produce and ensure a quality finish from start to finishMust have good "color eye"Ability to adjust spraying equipment to insure proper application of coating materialsMust be able to read and understand instructions and documents in EnglishPossess the ability to learn all species of wood used for production and finish colors by sightLearn and maintain knowledge of the Essential Cabinetry Group Hazardous Communication ProgramLearn and maintain knowledge of basic hazardous waste generator responsibilitiesAccurately label containers for paints, stains, cleaning solvents and hazardous wasteProperly dispose of used finishing products in the designated hazardous waste accumulation pointsAdhere to all OSHA, EPA, federal, state, and local lawsOther duties as assigned.RequirementsHigh school diploma or its equivalent required with 2-4 years experience in related field.Good verbal and written communication skills.Must be able to understand work instructions and directions in English.Good analytical skills.Equal Opportunity EmployerAt Essential Cabinetry Group, we believe in the value of your unique identity, background, and experiences.
