Overview

Metalcraft of Mayville is seeking a Paint Line Helper for the 3rd shift in Fall River, Wisconsin. This position involves assisting in kitting, loading/unloading, and packaging parts for the paint line while ensuring quality control and safety compliance.

Key responsibilities

  • Confirm job order and material selections
  • Report any packaging shortages
  • Tape and mask parts as required for coating
  • Use correct hangers to hang parts correctly on conveyor
  • Hang parts uniformly for cleaning and powder painting
  • Assist with assembly on line as needed
  • Remove parts from racks after oven cure
  • Inspect coated parts for coating thickness using approved gauges
  • Keep paint hooks clean and organize the area as needed
  • Fill out and manage all production and quality documentation as required
  • Follow instructions to package parts properly
  • Follow all company rules, policies, and regulations
  • Report quality concerns to line leader, manager, or QC department
  • Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards
  • Other duties as assigned
