Source Medical, LLC. is seeking a Pain Management Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their team in Beloit, Wisconsin and Roscoe, Illinois. The role involves providing medical and educational services to patients with pain conditions, focusing on optimizing patient health and implementing evidence-based pain management strategies.

Key responsibilities

  • Promote and maintain patient health by providing medical services under physician supervision.
  • Interview and examine patients; review medical histories and determine eligibility for interventional treatment.
  • Document patient care services on the day of service.
  • Develop comprehensive, individualized treatment plans for patients with pain disorders.
  • Perform in-office procedures such as Botox, joint, and soft tissue injections.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding pain management strategies.
  • Stay current on opioid prescribing guidelines.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of pain management interventions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care.

Required skills

  • Master's degree in Nursing, specialization in Pain Management preferred
  • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in Family Practice or Adult Medicine
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • Experience in performing minor medical procedures
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license and Nurse Practitioner (NP) certification
  • State-specific licensure for nurse practitioners
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • 2-3 years of experience as an advanced practice provider preferred
  • Experience in pain management or orthopedics preferred
