Source Medical, LLC. is seeking a Pain Management Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their team in Beloit, Wisconsin and Roscoe, Illinois. This full-time, permanent position involves providing medical and educational services to patients with various pain conditions while collaborating with licensed physicians. The role focuses on optimizing patient health, assessing pain, implementing treatment protocols, and managing pain conditions effectively.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide medical services under physician supervision.
  • Interview and examine patients, reviewing medical histories.
  • Develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients with pain disorders.
  • Perform in-office procedures, including injections and exams.
  • Educate patients and families on pain management strategies.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of pain management interventions.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers for optimal patient care.
  • Stay current on opioid prescribing guidelines and regulations.

Required skills

  • Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization in Pain Management.
  • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in Family Practice or Adult Medicine.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Experience in performing minor medical procedures.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license and Nurse Practitioner (NP) certification.
