Source Medical, LLC. is seeking a Pain Management Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their Pain Management Team in Beloit, Wisconsin and Roscoe, Illinois. This full-time, permanent position focuses on providing comprehensive medical and educational services to patients suffering from various pain conditions, while collaborating with licensed physicians and other healthcare providers.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide medical services under the supervision of a physician.
  • Interview and examine patients; review medical histories and determine eligibility for treatments.
  • Document patient care services on the day of service.
  • Develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients with pain disorders.
  • Perform in-office procedures, including Botox and joint injections.
  • Educate patients and families on pain management strategies.
  • Stay current on opioid prescribing guidelines.
  • Provide clinic support for follow-up visits and medication refills.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of pain management interventions.

Required skills

  • Master's degree in Nursing with specialization in Pain Management preferred.
  • Nurse Practitioner certification in Family Practice or Adult Medicine.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Experience in performing minor medical procedures.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license and Nurse Practitioner (NP) certification.
  • State-specific licensure for nurse practitioners.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • 2-3 years of experience as an advanced practice provider preferred.
  • Experience in pain management or orthopedics preferred.
