Overview

OhioHealth is looking for a PACU Staff RN to provide general nursing care to patients and families across various acute health care settings. This role requires accountability for nursing practices and involves delegating tasks to other nursing personnel while focusing on patient outcomes and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessments
  • Document planned nursing interventions to achieve patient outcomes
  • Evaluate and document responses to nursing interventions
  • Participate in process improvement activities to enhance clinical quality and customer satisfaction
  • Focus on safety, quality, and efficiency in all job duties

Required skills

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing
  • Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio
  • BLS certification
  • BSN required after 5 years of employment
  • ACLS certification
  • At least 2 years of recent Med Surg RN experience in an acute care hospital
