Overview

OhioHealth is seeking a PACU RN to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients and families in a dynamic, 24/7 healthcare environment. The role requires active participation in nursing assessments, care planning, implementation, and evaluation, while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards as part of a High Reliability Organization.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform initial, ongoing, and functional health assessments
  • Document planned nursing interventions based on patient needs
  • Evaluate and document responses to nursing interventions
  • Participate in process improvement activities for clinical quality and customer satisfaction
  • Focus on safety, quality, and efficiency in job performance

Required skills

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing
  • Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio
  • BLS certification from American Heart Association
  • BSN required after 5 years of employment
  • ACLS certification
  • At least 2 years of med-surg experience
