Overview

The PACU Administrative Nurse Manager at Mansfield Hospital ensures the delivery of evidence-based patient care and is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating nursing services. This role involves managing the department's fiscal and administrative operations while promoting a caring environment and fostering professional growth among staff.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee daily patient care operations and ensure quality delivery by nursing personnel.
  • Manage the annual operational and capital budget for the department.
  • Develop staffing plans and ensure appropriate human resources for patient care needs.
  • Evaluate personnel performance and advocate for a safe work environment.
  • Participate in leadership activities and facilitate staff development opportunities.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • BLS - Basic Life Support certification
