D.O.E GENERAL STATEMENTS OF DUTIES: Processes all customer orders accurately and efficiently in preparation for shipment to customers. EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: (This list may not include all of the duties assigned)Verifies that all required quality checks are completed on products prior to processing.Uses computer systems to confirm production orders and label corresponding products accurately.Verifies that labeled products are staged in the correct lane for shipment processing.Ensures employees assigned to the department remain on task and follow established procedures.Ensures all updated orders are completed on schedule and reports any anticipated delays with supporting reasons.Reads and interprets a tape measure accurately to 1/32 of an inch.Maintains punctual and reliable attendance on a daily basis.Reads and interprets job specifications to verify material requirements.Operates machinery by pushing buttons or depressing pedals to activate equipment.Conducts and verifies "first piece" inspections before production continues.Removes burrs, sharp edges, rust, or scale from workpieces as required.Organizes inventory and prioritizes projects to support production and shipping schedules.Must be willing to submit to a drug screen and background check.
