Overview

The Overnight Pack Down Associate at The Home Depot Canada is responsible for stocking merchandise and organizing the sales floor to enhance the shopping experience for customers. This part-time, 3-month contract position requires flexibility to work overnight shifts and involves operating equipment such as forklifts and order pickers to manage inventory efficiently.

Key responsibilities

  • Stocking merchandise onto shelves to achieve 100% in stock
  • Packing-out and packing-down merchandise as directed
  • Merchandising new items and promotions
  • Maintaining aisle cleanliness and shoppability
  • Organizing overheads for easy access to products
  • Communicating with team members to ensure proper stocking
  • Following customer service protocols including greeting, engaging, and thanking customers
  • Ensuring safe movement of freight and compliance with safety procedures

Required skills

  • Retail or distribution experience (1 to 2 years)
  • Knowledge of operating reach trucks, forklifts, and order picker machines
  • Interpersonal skills
