Overview

The Overnight Lead Guest Services Team Member at Pilot Flying J oversees the efficient processing of merchandise and fuel transactions while leading a small team of cashiers. This role is key to ensuring exceptional customer service and adherence to company policies during night shifts.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead a shift of cashiers to process cash, credit, and debit transactions
  • Complete end-of-shift reports and close out procedures
  • Follow guidelines for the sale of restricted merchandise
  • Maintain an organized and clean work area
  • Promote and sell products using suggested selling methods
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve team member conflicts
  • Determine break schedules and team member placement during shifts
  • Assist with travel center functions like deli maintenance and stocking
  • Ensure compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Previous experience or working knowledge of retail operations
