Overview

NCP Scholastic is seeking an Outside Sales Representative / Customer Success Manager to join their sports advertising team in Indianapolis. The role is focused on driving sales through client engagement, managing customer relationships, and providing tailored solutions to meet customer needs, while offering opportunities for growth and management advancement within the firm.

Key responsibilities

  • Travel within your territory to meet clients one-on-one
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of products and services
  • Manage and track sales in customer relationship management software
  • Support customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction
  • Research potential leads from various sources
  • Contact potential customers via phone and email
  • Determine customer needs and offer solutions
  • Deliver customized sales strategies
  • Close sales and guide customers through the purchasing process
  • Meet sales quotas for inside and outside sales
  • Maintain a record of calls through a computerized system
  • Create and maintain a database of prospective clients

Required skills

  • Sales experience, particularly in a B2B environment
  • Customer relationship management software experience
  • Understanding of sales techniques and sales funnel
  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2+ years of sales experience with a successful sales record
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Salesforce experience
  • Excellent communication skills
