Overview

NCP Scholastic is seeking a motivated Outside Sales Representative / Customer Success Manager for its sports advertising division in Indianapolis. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, particularly in B2B environments, and will be responsible for managing client relationships, generating leads, and meeting sales quotas.

Key responsibilities

  • Travel within territory to meet clients one-on-one
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of products and services
  • Manage and track sales progress in CRM software
  • Support customers after initial sales to ensure satisfaction
  • Research potential leads from various resources
  • Contact potential customers through calls and emails
  • Determine customer needs and offer solutions
  • Deliver customized sales strategies
  • Close sales and guide customers through the purchase process
  • Meet all inside and outside sales quotas
  • Maintain a record of calls in the computerized system
  • Create and maintain a database of prospective clients

Required skills

  • Sales experience in B2B environment
  • Familiarity with customer management software and platforms
  • Understanding of sales techniques and theory
  • High school degree or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2+ years of sales experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce
  • Excellent communication skills
