Overview

NCP Scholastic is seeking an Outside Sales Representative / Customer Success Manager in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to join their dynamic sports advertising and public relations firm. This role aims to enhance client relationships while driving sales growth, requiring motivated and energetic candidates with sales experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Travel within your territory to meet clients one-on-one
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of products and services
  • Manage and track sales using customer relationship management software
  • Support customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and identify further sales opportunities
  • Research potential leads from various sources
  • Contact potential customers through phone calls and emails
  • Determine customer needs and offer tailored product or service solutions
  • Deliver customized sales strategies
  • Close sales and guide customers through the purchasing process
  • Meet sales quotas for inside and outside sales
  • Maintain a record of calls in the computerized system
  • Create and maintain a database of prospective clients

Required skills

  • Sales experience in a B2B environment
  • Experience with customer relationship management software
  • Understanding of sales techniques and theory, including sales funnel
  • High school degree or equivalent; bachelor's degree is a plus
  • 2+ years of sales experience preferred with a successful sales record
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce
  • Excellent communication skills
