Overview

NCP Scholastic is seeking a motivated Outside Sales Representative / Customer Success Manager in Chattanooga, Tennessee, to join their dynamic sports advertising and public relations team. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and an entrepreneurial spirit, ready to build client relationships and drive sales growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Travel within territory to meet clients one-on-one
  • Maintain knowledge of products and services to benefit customers
  • Manage and track sales using customer relationship management software
  • Support customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and identify further opportunities
  • Research potential leads from various resources
  • Contact potential customers via phone and email
  • Determine customer needs and offer tailored product solutions
  • Deliver customized and targeted sales strategies
  • Close sales and guide customers through the purchasing process
  • Meet all sales quotas for inside and outside sales
  • Maintain a record of calls using a computerized system
  • Create and maintain a database of prospective clients

Required skills

  • Sales experience, particularly in B2B
  • Experience with customer relationship management software
  • Understanding of sales techniques and sales funnels
  • High school degree or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2+ years of sales experience with a successful sales record
  • Knowledge of company services and industry position
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Salesforce
  • Excellent communication skills
