Overview

Thompson Tire and Service is looking for an experienced commercial tire sales representative for its Davenport location. This Outside Sales role focuses on leading commercial field sales, maintaining client relationships, and securing new accounts, with potential earnings exceeding $100,000.

Key responsibilities

  • Make sales presentations to trucking and commercial accounts
  • Conduct cold calls and develop new accounts
  • Keep records and customer history to maximize sales
  • Regularly make sales calls, deliver, and pick up products
  • Gather information to facilitate payment for products and services
  • Complete invoicing and crediting for business transactions
  • Collect timely and past-due payments from customer accounts
  • Set up and charge customers' credit accounts as per policy
  • Provide technical assistance to customers
  • Advise management of customer trends and competitive activity
  • Prepare regular reports on sales and product trends
  • Provide superior customer service
  • Complete required training sessions
