What You'll Do As an Outlet Sales Representative, you'll be responsible for guiding customers through the entire sales process-from greeting and discovery to closing the sale and follow-up. Responsibilities Meet and exceed monthly sales and productivity goals Earn performance bonuses for surpassing sales expectations Develop strong product knowledge of clearance and special-order merchandise Greet customers in a retail showroom environment and confidently guide them through the buying process Build rapport and identify customer needs to recommend products and solutions Educate customers on product condition, features, pricing, and value Prepare and present pricing clearly and accurately Be responsible for all aspects of the sale from initial greeting through closing Accurately enter customer and sales information into company systems Perform proactive customer follow-up to support sales and customer satisfaction Represent the Klingman's brand with professionalism and integrity Utilize company technology to ensure accurate ordering and communication Work collaboratively with warehouse, delivery, and sales team members Maintain showroom standards and operational excellence Continuously improve performance through coaching and feedback What We're Looking For Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Retail or customer-facing sales experience preferred Ability to work nights and Saturdays Basic to intermediate computer skills Self-motivated and able to work independently Strong communication and customer service skills Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude Reliable transportation and a flexible schedule Cell phone required Willingness to work extended hours when business needs require Preferred Qualifications 1+ year of retail sales experience Experience selling furniture, mattresses, or other large-ticket retail products Proven ability to close sales and meet performance goals Experience in a fast-paced retail environment Desired Traits Passion for furniture and interior design, with a keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail Interest in helping customers create comfortable, functional, and beautiful living spaces Competitive, goal-oriented, and driven to succeed Professional appearance and demeanor Strong problem-solving and relationship-building skills Physical Requirements Must be able to lift and/or move, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
