Job Description

Overview

The Outdoor Guest Services role at the San Diego KOA Resort involves providing excellent customer service to campers and ensuring a high-quality experience. This seasonal position requires individuals who enjoy the outdoors and have strong communication and teamwork skills.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure high level of customer service consistent with company philosophy
  • Assist in maintaining safety of guests and resort property
  • Coordinate check-in process for late arrivals
  • Use Campground Management system effectively
  • Communicate with staff and management via Microsoft Teams
  • Enforce resort policies and resolve guest issues
  • Proactively manage guest interactions for a positive environment
  • Welcome guests after hours and conduct check-in
  • Perform custodial duties to maintain cleanliness
  • Participate in team training sessions
  • Fill LP gas tanks during office hours
  • Conduct light pool maintenance
  • Assist with other duties as necessary

Required skills

  • 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license for operating light vehicles
  • Professional appearance and attitude
  • Ability to communicate professionally and patiently
  • Ability to be on feet during shifts and lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • General knowledge of maintenance and common repair tools
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
