Overview

Curative is seeking a Locums Otolaryngology Physician for a role based in Florence, South Carolina. This position focuses on facial trauma and otolaryngology call coverage at a Level II trauma center with a manageable consult volume and no scheduled clinic responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide inpatient consults and perform procedures
  • Conduct post-operative rounding
  • Manage facial trauma cases including mandible fractures and orbital injuries
  • Participate in an emergency department consult-driven workflow
  • Be available for 24-hour call coverage from 8:00 am to 8:00 am
  • Take call from hotel after daily responsibilities are completed

Required skills

  • MD or DO required
  • Active South Carolina medical license
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Otolaryngology
  • Experience managing facial trauma independently
