Overview

ATC West Healthcare Services is looking for a locum tenens Electrophysiology physician to provide inpatient and call coverage in a high-acuity, Level 1 trauma center. This position will involve managing adult and geriatric patients, supported by a strong cardiology team.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide inpatient and call coverage
  • Care for adult and geriatric populations
  • Manage an estimated 20 clinic patients and 11 inpatient admissions per day
  • Perform electrical cardioversions, electrocardiograms (EKGs), tilt table tests, and other electrophysiology procedures
  • Supervise 1 Advanced Practice Provider (APP)

Required skills

  • Board Certified in Electrophysiology
  • BLS and ACLS certification
  • Ohio medical license (willing to obtain accepted)
  • Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation
  • Experience in inpatient care and patient management
  • Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically Epic
