Overview

ATC West Healthcare is seeking a board-certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon for locum tenens coverage in Lima, Ohio. This hospital-based role involves adult cardiothoracic surgical care with a consistent 24-hour call schedule and support from an experienced surgical team.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide hospital-based rounding and cardiothoracic surgery coverage
  • Manage adult patient population only
  • Perform an average of 1 case per day
  • Handle complex coronary artery bypass and valve procedures
  • Work with an EMR system (EPIC)
  • Support provided by physician assistants

Required skills

  • Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery
  • Active Ohio medical license
  • Fellowship training required
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Proficient in required cardiothoracic procedures
  • EPIC experience preferred
