Overview

Agile Occupational Medicine is seeking an Orthopedics Physician Assistant to join their team in Redding, California. This role offers independence and the opportunity to enhance leadership skills while providing quality medical care in occupational medicine. The position includes responsibilities such as patient evaluation and treatment, compliance with medical standards, and staff education.

Key responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat occupational medicine patients
  • Complete all medical record documentation prior to end of shift
  • Work with Center Medical Director to ensure operations meet professional standards
  • Provide guidance to medical personnel in the absence of the Center Medical Director
  • Maintain relationships with center clients and payers
  • Promote center initiatives consistent with other centers
  • Assure compliance with licensing and accreditation bodies

Required skills

  • Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program
  • Unrestricted California PA/NP license
  • Active DEA registration
  • Current BLS and AED certification
  • NRCME (DOT Medical Examiner) certification
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information in accordance with HIPAA
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with medical office administration and procedures
  • Basic computer skills
