Overview

She Recruits is seeking a General Orthopedic Surgeon with a sports focus preferred, to join a renowned health system in East Chicago, Indiana. This role offers the chance to work in a modern, high-demand practice with a flexible schedule and strong referral support.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform general orthopedic procedures
  • Manage joint replacements, including hip, knee, and shoulder
  • Handle fracture management and arthroscopic procedures
  • Treat sports injuries and plan rehabilitation
  • Coordinate with physical therapists, athletic trainers, and primary care physicians
  • Manage both surgical and non-surgical cases

Required skills

  • Expertise in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine
  • Knowledge of fracture management and joint replacement techniques
  • Familiarity with rehabilitation planning and healthcare technology
  • Experience with EPIC EMR and advanced surgical platforms
  • Ability to work in a flexible scheduling environment
