Job Description

Overview

She Recruits is seeking a General Orthopedic Surgeon for a well-established practice in East Chicago, IN, within a highly respected health system. This role offers a flexible Monday-Friday schedule, a 1:6 call rotation, and the opportunity to work in a tech-forward environment with modern surgical infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform general orthopedic procedures
  • Manage joint replacements (hip, knee, shoulder)
  • Oversee fracture management
  • Conduct arthroscopic procedures
  • Treat sports injuries and develop rehabilitation plans
  • Coordinate with physical therapists, athletic trainers, and primary care providers
  • Manage surgical and non-surgical cases

Required skills

  • Orthopedic Surgery experience
  • Sports Medicine knowledge
  • Collaboration and teamwork abilities
  • Familiarity with EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation
  • Experience with robotics and advanced surgical platforms
