Key Responsibilities As an Orthopedic Rehabilitation Specialist, your daily responsibilities will include:Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients to determine individualized treatment plans that address their unique needs and goals.Implementing evidence-based interventions such as manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises designed to improve motion and reduce pain.Educating patients about their conditions and involving them in their treatment process for better outcomes.Documenting patient interactions and progress using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, specifically Web PT, ensuring accurate and timely updates.Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as orthopedic surgeons, occupational therapists, and nutritionists, to deliver cohesive care.Monitoring patient progress regularly and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving needs.Developing and facilitating fitness and wellness programs tailored to each patient's recovery journey, emphasizing long-term health and rehabilitation.Advocating for non-surgical alternatives and educating patients on lifestyle modifications to enhance recovery and quality of life.Providing motivation and support to patients, ensuring they feel engaged and empowered throughout their rehabilitation process. Patient Population / Client Focus Our clinic primarily serves patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and those with chronic pain conditions. Qualifications To be considered for this role, candidates must have the following qualifications:A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.An active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in Nevada, with a clean record (no sanctions or board proceedings).Demonstrated expertise in orthopedic physical therapy, particularly in outpatient settings.Familiarity with manual therapy modalities and the ability to implement diverse treatment techniques effectively.Proficiency in using EMR systems, with experience in Web PT being particularly beneficial.A deep understanding of current physical therapy research and techniques, ensuring the delivery of up-to-date patient care.
