Work Environment This role is performed onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center located in West Palm Beach, Florida. The center is equipped with the latest physical therapy technologies and features a welcoming atmosphere conducive to patient recovery. Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate, diagnose, and develop effective treatment plans for patients with various orthopedic conditions and functional limitations using evidence-based practices.Conduct physical assessments and maintain accurate documentation to create a comprehensive care strategy, ensuring clarity and compliance with licensed practices.Implement and modify treatment protocols based on continual assessments, evolving patient conditions, and feedback from other healthcare professionals.Actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, contributing valuable insights and collaborating to remove barriers to access for effective patient outcomes.Manage administrative responsibilities relating to patient care including timely documentation for insurance reimbursement and compliance with state regulations.Assist in discharge planning and provide post-rehabilitation support to reinforce continuity of care for all patients.Lead efforts to enhance service delivery by engaging in continuous quality improvement initiatives and patient-centered care practices.Participate in team training sessions and professional development activities to stay current with advancements in physical therapy practices. Patient Population / Client Focus Our clients vary widely, often including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, engaging in sports rehabilitation, and managing chronic pain issues. As an Orthopedic Rehabilitation Specialist, you will focus on providing personalized care tailored to each patient's unique needs, fostering an environment of trust and support. QualificationsA Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida.Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to adapt treatment plans based on patient feedback and progress. Preferred ExperienceMinimum of two (2) years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting.Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems for managing patient documentation and care plans.Current CPR certification and evidence of continuing education in physical therapy best practices. Compensation and Benefits The salary range for this position is competitive, with an annual compensation of $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
