Key Responsibilities In your role as an Orthopedic Rehabilitation Specialist, you will:Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians, tailoring treatment programs to meet individual needs.Implement various treatment modalities, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.Document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes based on evidence-based practices.Provide education and support to patients and caregivers, ensuring they understand their treatment protocols and home exercise programs.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to enhance patient care and promote integrated treatment approaches.Engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay updated on industry trends, enhancing the quality of care provided.Maintain a high standard of customer service, contributing positively to the patient experience and fostering trust and satisfaction. Patient Population / Client Focus At Joint in Motion, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population that includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, chronic pain conditions, and neurological issues. We focus on using a holistic approach to therapy, integrating physical techniques with education about lifestyle modifications to promote long-term wellness and injury prevention. Qualifications To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates must meet the following qualifications:A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.A valid state license to practice physical therapy in New Jersey.At least two years of relevant clinical experience, preferably in an orthopedic or rehabilitation setting.Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.Strong written and verbal communication skills, necessary for effective patient interaction and documentation.Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and basic computer applications for documentation and communication.A willingness to build meaningful relationships with patients, demonstrating empathy and support throughout their recovery process.A proactive team player attitude, capable of working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
