Our Orthopedic program is rapidly growing with increased sub-specialization, robust patient volume, and a steadfast commitment to surgical excellence in joint replacement.Luminis Health Orthopedics is seeking a fellowship-trained, BC/BE Orthopedic Joint Arthroplasty Surgeon to join our expanding and dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to perform primary and revision joint replacement surgery in a community-based, high-volume center supported by a dedicated research team. You'll work alongside collaborative colleagues passionate about improving quality of life through advanced joint care and innovative surgical techniques.Responsibilities include:Diagnosing and managing hip and knee joint disorders requiring surgical and non-surgical interventionsPerforming primary and revision total joint arthroplasty of the hip and knee, with access to enabling technologies and ambulatory surgery center arthroplastyMaintaining accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams-including physical therapy, pain management, and primary care-for comprehensive patient careEngaging in quality improvement initiatives, team meetings, and continuing educationParticipating in orthopedic call coverage as assignedTeaching and research through academic affiliations (involvement is optional)Qualifications: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution Completion of an ACGME-accredited Orthopedic Surgery Residency Fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction / Joint Arthroplasty Board-certified or board-eligible in Orthopedic Surgery Active Maryland medical license or eligibility to obtain one Demonstrated expertise in primary and revision total joint arthroplasty Proficiency in robotic-assisted and computer-navigated surgery preferred Excellent interpersonal skills and commitment to patient-centered care Community outreach and engagement experience is a plusWe support our employees at every stage of life.
