Overview

The Order Manager at Butcher Power Products is responsible for managing the transition of sales orders from the Commercial organization to Operations. This role involves validating order details, ensuring all necessary information is complete and accurate, and facilitating the setup process in their MRP system to prepare orders for production.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for sales orders handed off from Commercial to Operations
  • Validate each handoff to confirm the completeness of information required for order fulfillment
  • Build out the work breakdown structure (WBS) for the order
  • Enter the product into the MRP system to trigger the production workflow
  • Create and organize standardized project folders for documentation
  • Make first contact with the customer on behalf of Operations following the Commercial handshake
  • Facilitate the formal transition of the account into Operations

Required skills

  • 3+ years in Order Management, Project Coordination, or Operations role
  • Experience within the electrical distribution or manufacturing sector
  • Proven ability to navigate MRP systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Ability to translate contracted scope into a work breakdown structure
  • Proficient in recognizing and organizing electrical project documents
  • Exceptional written and verbal English skills
  • High proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Teams, SharePoint)
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on clean data and organized filing

What the company offers

  • Base pay range of $72,000 - $90,000 per year
