Job Description

Overview

Butcher Power Products is seeking an Order Manager to facilitate the transition of sales orders from the Commercial organization to Operations. This role involves ensuring that orders are execution-ready by validating information, setting up the order in the MRP system, and serving as the primary contact between customers and Operations.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for sales orders from Commercial to Operations
  • Validate handoffs and confirm that all information for successful order fulfillment is provided
  • Build work breakdown structure for orders and enter data into MRP system
  • Organize project folders and ensure all documents are correctly filed
  • Facilitate the transition of customer accounts to Operations and introduce the customer to their Project Manager

Required skills

  • 3+ years of experience in Order Management, Project Coordination, or Operations
  • Proficiency in MRP/ERP systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Ability to translate contracted scope into a work breakdown structure
  • Understanding of electrical project documents and technical specifications
  • High proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite (Excel, Teams, SharePoint)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy

What the company offers

  • Base pay range of $72,000 - $90,000 per year
