Overview

As a Station Trainer at Swissport International AG, you'll play a vital role in the aviation industry by delivering training and evaluating performance for employees in ground handling operations. You will oversee training delivery in various formats and ensure compliance with company standards while acting as a role model and mentor for new hires.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver classroom and on-the-job training (OJT) in various formats
  • Oversee practical training for Cargo operations and conduct final assessments
  • Ensure compliance with corporate training policies and operational procedures
  • Monitor and promote best practices across the station
  • Conduct internal quality assurance activities and operational audits
  • Provide coaching and objective feedback to enhance staff performance
  • Maintain effective communication with subject matter experts
  • Support training needs forecasting and planning
  • Administer examinations and maintain training compliance
  • Assist with new hire tracking and coaching programs

Required skills

  • 1+ years of experience in airline Cargo operations
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Customer service orientation
  • Flexibility to work various shifts
  • Knowledge of adult learning processes and instructional design
  • Ability to create and deliver training materials and presentations
