SUMMARYWe are seeking a motivated Oracle System Administrator that will be responsible for the administration and management of Oracle on-prem and cloud applications and systems. This role performs provisioning, configuration, patching, backup and recovery, upgrades, monitoring, troubleshooting, performance tuning, environment refreshes, and secures access for Oracle Cloud Applications, databases, and other OCI services. RESPONSIBILITIESAdminister and maintain Oracle database environments on-prem and in the cloud.Maintain and test database backup and recovery strategies.Monitor database performance and perform tuning activities.Provision, configure, patch, upgrade, and support database and OCI services.Execute database and application refreshes to support non-production environments.Troubleshoot Oracle platform issues.Manage database and application security, user provisioning, and access permissions.Monitor system integrity and proactively identify risks or improvement opportunities.Collaborate with application teams, infrastructure teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to support Oracle application systems. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR - 10%, Washington, D.C. - 12.5%). Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
