Overview

Titan Placement Group is seeking an Optometrist to join a progressive and financially stable Federally Qualified Health Center in Houlton, Maine. This position emphasizes outpatient care for patients of all ages, focusing on comprehensive eye examinations and treatment plans.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide care for patients of all ages through a 4-day work week
  • Perform vision tests and analyze results
  • Conduct eye examinations using observation and instruments
  • Diagnose eye diseases and abnormalities
  • Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and medications
  • Provide pre and postoperative care for eye surgeries
  • Maintain accurate and timely health records
  • Participate in required quality measures

Required skills

  • New Graduates Welcome
  • Clear and Active Medical Doctor License in Maine
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Optometry
  • Active DEA
  • Experience with Athena EMR
