Overview

Titan Placement Group is seeking an Optometrist for a Federally Qualified Health Center in Lincoln, Maine. This role focuses on providing comprehensive eye care for patients of all ages while working in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Work a 4-day work week with a focus on outpatient care
  • Perform vision tests, analyze results, and develop treatment plans
  • Examine eyes using observation and instruments to diagnose conditions
  • Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and medications
  • Provide pre and postoperative care for eye surgery patients
  • Collaborate with primary care providers for healthcare delivery
  • Maintain accurate health records and participate in quality measures

Required skills

  • Clear and Active Medical Doctor License in the State of Maine
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Optometry
  • Active DEA license
  • Experience with Athena EMR
  • Strong patient care and communication skills
