Titan Placement Group invites you to consider an opportunity for an Optometrist position in Panama City, Florida. This role involves conducting comprehensive eye exams and managing ocular diseases, all within a vibrant coastal community known for its outdoor lifestyle and growing healthcare sector.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive eye exams to assess vision and detect eye conditions
  • Prescribe corrective lenses and provide treatment plans for vision-related issues
  • Diagnose and manage ocular diseases, including glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy
  • Educate patients on eye health and preventive care
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
  • Maintain accurate patient records and comply with industry regulations

Required skills

  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program
  • Active Florida optometry license or eligibility to obtain one
  • Strong clinical skills in diagnosing and treating ocular conditions
  • Excellent communication and patient-care skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
