Job Description

Overview

Intervala, LLC is seeking an Optical Inspection Operator to join their 2nd shift team, focusing on quality control for printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs). This role is pivotal in ensuring product standards are met by inspecting and assessing quality through automated optical inspection.

Key responsibilities

  • Review AOI output to assess PCBA quality
  • Spot recurring manufacturing defects and collaborate with team members to resolve them
  • Catch false calls and help fine-tune AOI programs
  • Log defects in the MES system with precision
  • Recommend documentation improvements for better quality outcomes
  • Assist with x-ray inspection as needed

Required skills

  • Attention to detail and solid visual inspection skills
  • Intermediate computer skills and comfort working with data
  • Basic understanding of electronic components
  • Strong communication and decision-making skills
  • Willingness to grow and obtain IPC-610 certification
  • 1+ year in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
  • Experience working with SMT lines or inspection equipment (preferred)
  • High School Diploma or GED required
